Status Updates: Meta Outage with Humanitix Event Links

Meta experienced a technical issue which incorrectly de-listed Humanitix Event content from Meta platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.


Meta identified and fixed the issue such that all Humanitix event content is again sharable on Meta platforms.


Meta has restored the historical content which was incorrectly de-listed. Please reach out to hello@humanitix.com if you find your content has not been restored.

Friday, 17th of May, 15:50 GMT+10: Meta has confirmed that all Facebook event links expedited by Humanitix have been restored. Meta confirms they are continuing to restore all remaining content, including Facebook Events and Meta advertising assets. Humanitix is continuing to help expedite this process for affected hosts.

You could find this URL via Google Searches or previous messages/comms where you have shared this link. Humanitix unfortunately cannot know Facebook Event Pages if they were created via Facebook directly. Meta has advised that any new events, posts or comments containing Humanitix material are shareable without issue.

We are working with Meta to confirm this is the case and ensure all historical activity on Meta which included a Humanitix link is shortly restored.
