Our first event: Humanitix x Sofar Sounds

After having faciliated over 200,000 events on our platform around the world, Humanitix finally hosted our very first event that was open to the public! We teamed up with the cool cats at Sofar Sounds to create an intimate concert featuring some seriously talented local musicians. Our new office was transformed into a beautiful space, complete with a stage, twinkling lights and candles, and killer sound equipment.

The night started with guests being welcomed into our groovy new space, and our Product Owner Sam was feeling all the feels - he shared that he used to host Sofar Sounds gigs in his NYC apartment, back in the day. We were then treated to incredible sets from Rami, David McCredie and Peptalk, and the vibes were high! The Humani-team were dancing on our feet by the end of the night.

The Humanitix team were especially big fans of the last band, Peptalk, which was made up of three self-described "emotional girls". Some of us turned into absolute groupies in their awesome stage presence, leading to the girls signing the chests of Frank in our sales team, and our co-founder Josh.🙈 We also sang our Happy Birthday song to Lara, one of the band members whose birthday it happened to be. When we get excited, WE GET EXCITED.

We were beyond stoked with how everything turned out. Sam was psyched to see his vision come to life in our new digs, and it was awesome to bring together local musicians and music lovers in our space. Partnering with Sofar Sounds was the cherry on top - we share their values and commitment to supporting local communities.
