“It was actually pretty easy for us to switch to Humanitix. We were with another ticketing platform for a long time, and we had moved to a separate payment processor after they kept raising their fees over and over again. The Indiana Arborist Association (IAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting proper tree care and maintenance practices in Indiana. It was founded in 1976 and is comprised of professional arborists, urban foresters, and other individuals who are interested in the care and preservation of trees.

The IAA offers a variety of educational programs, seminars, and events for its members and the public.

Ashley struggled with the high fees charged by her previous platform, and on top of that it was impossible to get real support from their team.

“You really had to dig to speak to a real person and even then, sometimes it’s just not possible. You’d also have to wait up to 48 hours to get a response.”

Once she made the decision to switch, setting up on Humanitix was quick and easy.

“I was able to copy-paste a lot of information from Eventbrite and just bring it over to Humanitix. Once I got each of our events set up, it’s pretty simple to just copy them and make changes to dates, and times and locations. Humanitix also does a great job of making the reports really easy to download and troubleshoot.”

By switching to Humanitix, the IAA started saving 50% on booking fees on our Not-For-Profit rate. As well as the cost-savings, Ashley was able to reach out to Humanitix easily for support.

“Anytime I have a question, the Humanitix team are right there to answer questions for me and so that's been really, really nice. Because other platforms really does not have people that you can ask questions to and expect a response in any sort of a timely way.”

“There is much better customer service from Humanitix. There are real human interactions. Now I have personal emails of two different Humanitix people who I know will not only get back to me very quickly, but are just very kind and helpful people. Which means everything in our day and age when customer service is really really lacking.”

“The platform has been really user-friendly. Anything I haven’t been able to figure out there is always someone at Humanitix who is happy to answer my questions. Humanitix does a great job of making it very simple to troubleshoot and figure things out. I’ve yet to come across a problem that Humanitix hasn’t been able to fix. So it’s been very nice. I have no complaints.”

Feel-Good Impact

“It was an easy choice. There are so many different causes in the world that can use the support and so I'd rather give our money to Humanitix than to a private company that is keeping all the profits for themselves. People who attend our events are much happier to give their money to not-for-profit organizations than to a capitalistic company. And it just fits with our mission. I don’t see why we would ever leave”
