Glow at the Gardens

Denver Botanic Gardens lights up its York Street site with glowing hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns, creating a spooky, silly and spirited autumnal event like no other. Wander an immersive illuminated path through enchanted landscapes animated by live performers. It sells out weeks in advance, so book early.

Magic of the Jack O' Lanterns

Fright Fest at Elitch Gardens

Colorado's biggest Halloween event leads a double life: trick-or-treating, harvest attractions and playful fun for little ghouls and goblins by day; haunted houses, scare zones and rides in the dark by night.

Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms

A treasured October tradition, spread across a 10-acre pumpkin patch with a corn maze, wagon rides and an antique tractor exhibit. Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical

Take a trip back to Hawkins, Indiana, 1983, when times were simpler, the hair was bigger and there were significantly more interdimensional child abductions. The Gothic Market

Spooky season doesn't end on October 31. Grimoire's Gothic Market is Sabrina the Teenage Witch meets American Horror Story, landing right here in Colorado Springs on November 7. Expect crystals, candles, tarot readings, plushies, handmade goods and dark fairytale everything. Gothic or formal attire is encouraged.

This is the last stretch of the year worth being outside after dark. Once November lands, the evenings belong to the cold and everyone moves indoors until spring.
